The famous Cuban percussionist, Amadito Valdés (nominate to Grammy 2003 ), called by the media “The Golden Sticks of Buena Vista Social Club” (alluding to the famous Cuban musical group) will give a master class : “Play the kettledrums, Amadito!”. In his very personal style, this “master” of the timbales will show us the central role played by this musical instrument in some of the most important rhythms of the Cuban popular music: Son, Danzón, Cha-cha-cha, Bolero, Bembé, Pilón, etc

This one hour and a half master class also includes:

- Interpretation service (English, French and German)
- Welcome cocktail
- Images of the “Buena Vista Social Club” (comments by the artist)
- Dinner and conversation with the artist at the elegant “Café del Oriente” restaurant.
